Thermal evaporation sources are current-driven devices that operate using resistive heating.

The power requirement table provided lists estimated amperages needed to reach a specific temperature; however, these values are not maximum rated temperatures. In order to achieve different temperatures, the amperage must be adjusted by the same percent as the temperature.

 

(e.g. 10% temperature increase translates to an approximate 10% amperage increase)
