Chrome Plated Tungsten Rods

R.D. Mathis Company’s chrome plated tungsten rods are an effective way to deposit thin films of chromium, which are used in the electronics and optics industries. Advantages of using chrome rods over chrome chips include:

• better thermal efficiency and uniformity,
• regulation of film thickness for ease-of-use and repeatable processes,
• and elimination of spitting and spalling which can cause pinhole type defects.

Tungsten Screen and Mesh

This mesh can be placed or wrapped over your evaporation source, helping to capture particulates. Tungsten screen can come with frames (part no. TM-1), or available without frames in 12 inch widths with customizable lengths (part no. TM-2).
