Tungsten Wire Mixture – WWMIX

We developed our tungsten wire mixture to help with controlling the migration and corrosiveness of many materials. Aluminum for example, will wet to the tungsten wire clippings as the wire clippings give the aluminum more surface area within the evaporation area of the boat.

The clippings act like a sponge to help retain the molten material in the evaporation area and also become sacrificial clippings to help with the corrosiveness of many materials. Sprinkle the clippings in as an additive with your evaporation pellets or wire.
